All our efforts are derived from three main categories against which we measure our performance and which determine the way we do things at B. Braun Avitum. These objectives are operationalized into concrete measurable parameters (key performance indicators) and every employee is given individual targets. This way our value system is consistent across all levels of B. Braun Avitum.

Patient Care
The patient is in the center of all our endeavors. Especially our medical quality is directly linked to these objectives; but also employees from administrative areas have to contribute with their jobs to fulfill our mission to "improve our patients' lives". The most important objective in this area are:

Shareholder Value
In order to be able to maintain the best possible service to our, patients we will also fulfill the requirements of our shareholders in terms of economically sound results. The most important objectives in this area are:

Measurements
We operationalize the above objectives into concrete, measurable parameters which determine the individual targets of employees on all levels of B. Braun Avitum. These numbers form part of the annual performance appraisal talks and also determine the variable salary part. This way company success and individual well-being are tied together.
